Facilities : INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES

The Department is well equipped with large lecture halls, conference halls, library and computer lab.

LECTURE HALLS

The Department has spacious lecture halls with provision for fresh air and good lighting. The instructional process is enhanced with regular use of audio-visual aids like smart classes visualizer, LCD Projector, etc.

LIBRARY

The Library provides ‘Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) system that enables students to have immediate access to the book they want to borrow. Overnight issues are encouraged. Besides, it has a Competitive Examination Cell which assists students in their career point of view. The library has been adjudged the ‘BEST’ among the affiliated colleges of Acharya Nagarjuna University in the ‘Library’ category.

The computer lab is equipped with advanced computers having latest software. The students are encouraged to make extensive use of the computers and to have access to Internet that enhances their knowledge.

The Department functions effectively through four cells:

1. Academic Cell
2. Industry - Institute Interaction Cell
3. Placement Cell

1.ACADEMIC CELL

Conducts Weekly Tests, Case Studies and Assignments. Organise workshops for students. Soft skills classes are organised for improving communication skills. Monitor Attendance and Enforce Discipline

2.STUDENT’S ACTIVITY CELL

Conducts Seminars, Guest Lectures and facilitates Industrial Visits. Conducts Study Conferences and commerce Meets. Accommodates students in industries for their summer projects.

3.PLACEMENT CELL

Prepares Placement Brochure with particulars of students. Training on Resume Preparation, Placement Counseling, etc. Secures placements to the registered students.
